Updates

After a gruelling work week I've managed to do some Firefall fanart and try my hand at feng zhu's multi-sketching technique/ suggestion. Both the below were done in unison over maybe an hour.

I am noticing that my lighting is very bad or the basic lighting knowledge I have is starting to fail me .....like an old windows update. Time to update... along with studying light more I plan to do more characters and perhaps if there's time, vehicles. I did do about an hour of heads from the drawingscript.com and tracing/by hand the burne hogarth heads but i need to be doing that on a consistent basis! 

Hopefully Ill have more to post this week, and before I forget the fanart!!!

Thurs Morn Speedies

After the rainbow brontodon incident. I'd like to go back into learning more production geared things. I'm keeping on with environments but those I can spend time with to polish from any of the speed paints. My "real" focus is characters as I haven't had a lot of experience with them and I'm lacking in that area so I'll start with life drawing then move to character design from there.

Tired Tinkering

Working tired is never good , but some times new lessons are learned I'm finally getting a some what handle on controlling paint daubs and lighting.....The fore ground is too fuzzy and would require detailing. Again, I can always come back and polish these suckers out like crazy but I'd rather sprint to the finish quality will catch up to speed in the future. My favourite part on this was when I flipped the image after 40 min and then realized I could copy the structure quickly adding detail.

Feelin Batty

Finally getting this character thing I was starting to feel batty...I got RJ to a point where I'm happy with him, however I may re iterate. Right now need to break and let the character lessons and thoughts sink in.

And some one got me feelin batty at 4am yesterday...
